BUFF BADGERS 10/26-10/30

Hi, BBs! Just a quick message to let you know I'm thinking of all of you. Since I started walking during my lunch hour I haven't had time to do my daily checkin. I'll try to catch up tomorrow. Tomorrow I weigh to see how I'm doing in our BL contest. Not an official checkin so no money at stake. Hope you're enjoying the time off (for those who are off). Not me. Oh, well. Tomorrow is TGIF. :D
 
Hello and Happy Friday! It's raining here so I did not get out fora run this morning. I am going to go on the Elliptical for a 45mn "run" and then CTX Upper Body. Friend and I are thinking of taking kids tot he movies this afternoon to see "Where the Wild Things Are". Otherwise I have house work that needs to get done! Never got a chance to add another workout on last night! Forgot I had to take DS to FB practice and it was raining so I just read my book in the van instead of walking!:p

Sue, I wish you luck with your weigh-in! I bet you've done well!

No big plans besides taking DS trick-or-treating this weekend. Oh, and watching the Packers!

Morning Ladies,

This morning was Disc 18, Back & Biceps and that one really works those biceps to failure :eek:. Last night I got in another run with the dog, because it was such great weather (not raining).

Lala, Did you get your cursor to function normally now?

Karen, I love Sequence! You had a great workout yesterday. I am done with this rain too. :( But at least it isn't snow! :eek:

Susan, Have fun at the movie, if that is what you decide to do. I would have been sitting in the van reading too. ;)

Sue, I'm sure that you will do well, and glad to hear from you even if it is for a short time. :D

My plans for the weekend are getting DD12 to dance class tomorrow, and getting my workouts in.

Happy Friday! Can't wait to take advantage of that extra hour of sleep this weekend. :D No walk today. My walking partner is coming down with a cold and her ankle hurts. I don't mind because the scale liked me this morning. I'm down 5 pounds!! Keep in mind my weight was up to an all time high so I'm sure some of that was water. Not all though - jeans are fitting better.

Last night I did Prevention Fight Cellulite Fast cardio and this morning I did BFL style upper body weights. Will do cardio tonight or possibly a cardio/lower body routine like LowMax.

Susan - Don't you think we should all say "Enough of the rain already!" :p At least you get to "run" inside on your elliptical.

Laurie - I agree that this is the best time of year to run. If only I was a runner! :p I'm more of a trudger, just trudging slowly along. :D

Karen - Lauren Brooks on youtube. I WILL check that out this weekend. Promise!

Hi all,

Today I did KPC, then walked the dog. I tried to do Cardio Kicks and Strike Zone but neither one would play in the dvd player in the computer. Anyone know why they might not play? RS played the other day and it is older than Cardio Kicks, isn't it?

Sue, high fives on your 5 pound loss. Are you adding walking to your normal workouts? Are the kids back in Dojo?

Laurie, so true, the rain isn't snow. Nice job with the run and doing STS back/bi. These are some good workouts.

Susan, have fun trick or treating and working out. Sorry you didn't get your workout in last night. Glad you got some reading in though. Go Packers. The boys are going as Packer fans for trick or treating.

Lala, hope you figured out that computer problem. Enjoy your weekend.

We have a birthday party for one of DD18 friends from school tonight. Tomorrow is basketball, grocery shopping and trick or treating. Sun. Church and the Packer game. Two days off from exercise--yea!!! KPC was even hard today, with no weighted gloves.
