A-Jock, I don't know about sending care packages, but I wish your brother a safe stint and a quck return to the US.

I have no family or loved ones in the military, but recently found out that one of my students is being deployed, first to Germany in January (right after the New Year), then to Iraq in March. It is a very sobering thought to have this happen to someone you know and not just some anonymous stranger.

There is a website www.juvo.com or www.gojuvo.com that offers free packets of a raw-food meal replacement for people to send to family members in the military. Might be something to check out.

A-Jock,

I lurk every day on this forum and don't post much, and I don't have any advice to offer as I don't have anyone over in Iraq, but I just wanted to let you know how much I will be thinking of you and your brother in the months ahead, and hope you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I really enjoy all of your posts and hope that you will continue to keep us up to date as to what is happening.

Again, hang in there and we will thinking of you,

Sandra S.
