Brooks PureConnect: Where, oh WHERE have these shoes been all my life?

A little background (skip if TMI):
I found out the hard way that I was a neutral runner--despite flat feet. I have NEVER (no exaggeration) found running shoes that did not give me blisters--despite trying the best anti-blister socks. The closest I've ever come was Asics Gel Cumulus in a wide width. But even with WrightSocks, I still got blisters on my instep. I transitioned to Vibrams and loved the natural feel and the mid-foot strike. But they gave me blisters on the bottom of my feet, and I didn't enjoy feeling every pebble and crack in the pavement--ouch! I gave myself Plantar Fasciitis when I switched from the Vibrams back to Asics for a long run. After I healed, I wanted something that would still give me the "barefoot" feel and mid-foot strike but cushion rough surfaces.

Brooks PureConnect shoes are fabulous! They are sooooo comfortable. The cushioning is in the mid/forefoot. There is no rubbing. They are light and flexible but still protect from rough surfaces. They felt wonderful from the get-go. I've been using them for a month now without a hint of a blister--or any reappearance of Plantar Fasciitis symptoms. I realize they are not for everyone, but I cannot gush enough about them. I'm so happy to FINALLY find a shoe that works for my feet and body.

I ordered a pair of orange/purple PureConnects from zappos last night based on your enabling review!

Brook's Green Silence are my favorite shoes in the whole world for wearing to work and running errands. (I don't run.) I have 4 pairs in 3 colors. They're so lightweight, well-ventilated and more comfortable than flip flops but still allow my feet to breathe in the summer. Just not a good shoe in the rain or snow and you have to triple knot the laces so they don't come undone.

I'm hoping the PureConnects are equally comfy and lightweight. I like shoes that don't get in the way of my feet, if that makes any sense.
