broken ankle

Dear Cathe,

I recently broke my ankle while out running. Thats what I get for not taking care of it when I sprained it really bad. I broke the lower tip off of the fibula and the doctor put me in a walking cast because the bone doesn't support any weight there. I just can't move it side to side until it heals. So far for cardio I know I can aqua jog and bike but for the weights I was wondering if it would be alright to modify all the standing moves for the upper body and do them all seated. If "yes" any form pointers that may be different when seated then with standing. I have all of your weight workouts and love them. I know the lower body weight moved are out of the question. I would really like your input. Thanks

Crystal
