Breast Enhancing Pills???

Has anybody heard of a breast enhancing pill called BLOUSSANT? Or anything like it?? We've been talking about breast on another thread and the pro and cons of surgery. My husband suggested the pills they have out. Are these a gimmick? Are they safe?? Any input on this would be great!! Thanks in advance!!
Ok, Cinza, let's see what this educated crowd has to say on this;-)!

Hi Aimee,

my sister actually took those, and she thinks they work. She did say that after she took them her breasts were VERY sore. I will call her and ask her how they are doing know, we do not live in the same town and I have not seen her for the past few months. Hey, we'll let you try them and then let us know if we should try them(he he he)

I have no first-hand knowledge of the facts, but I know of two successful lawsuits against the company that manufactures Bloussant for 1) breach of contract, and 2) misrepresentation/fraud.

I personally would not try such a product and I think you are all beautiful enough without any such supplements!

You know, if they put weight on your chest... would they put weight on elsewhere? birth control pills do that to me.

I mentioned them to my gynecologist and he just rolled his eyes at me. Its just another gimmick like all the others, like cream that will make cellulite disappear.

You know, ever since I posted this, I've been working very hard on getting over my "boob envy", While I think have more breasts would be nice, I was thinking as I was working my chest today," How many average women, feel the strength in their chest and appericate the fact that it can lift a 40lb barbell countless times? Not many outside of us fitness fanatics I guess. I'm going to concentrate on being proud of my muscles and what they can do for me, instead of worrying about what two orbs of fat and glands should look like.

NO!!!!

As the daughter of a Mom dead to breast cancer and a sister to a sister dead of breast cancer: for heaven's sake!!! BE GLAD YOU HAVE TWO OF ANY SIZE OR DIMENSION. AND DON'T MESS WITH THEM!!!!

RE: NO!!!!

That would get your priorities straight!

I am lacking in that department, but don't care because I think it's easier to buy clothes. My mother had ample boobs and a big butt, and I have small boobs and a narrow butt....I like the way I'm built just fine. Really, there's only so much you can do with your genetic makeup, so just learn to live with it and get in the best shape you can.

RE: NO!!!!

Hi, Murph. I just clicked on your profile (I like to see whose "talking"), and I'm in the Chicago area, too (Palatine).

How many other Chicago people are out there??

RE: NO!!!!

If these pills worked there would be millions of women walking around with DDD cup sizes.

From a logical standpoint I don't see how a pill knows to make one body part big and leave the rest of your body alone.

Manufacturers of products like this should be prosecuted for false advertising.

Save your money.

DDD Cups - Yuck!!!!

It would be pretty tough to find cloths to fit properly with DDD cups. Also people tend to assume big busted woman are brainless. Think Pamela Anderson etc. No thanks to the SUPPER BREASTS.

But I agree if it came in a bottle most woman would have bigger breast. Just not sure why http://www.plaudersmilies.de/sad/nixweiss.gif. I think smaller breast are nicer. Woman with A and B cups can wear tight fitting cloths and look classy rather then trashy IMHO. I'd love to be an A or B cup. Guess the grass is always greener.

Aimee, I'm so glad....

LAST EDITED ON Jul-11-01 AT 02:25PM (Est)[p]....you've come to the healthy conclusion that you have, I always worry about people who want to change their body in unnatural ways. You're right, strong muscles say 'healthy', whereas lots of breasts where there wasn't lots before just says 'low self-esteem'! We're about fitness and health, not senseless vanity and narcissism.

My mom has also had breast cancer and I'm just happy to have her alive with one breast left. Even though I have almost nothing for breasts, the doctor says I'm still prone to getting cancer too, ironic, huh?

While we're on the subject, I have to say I'm sorely disappointed about Karen Voight's apparent change of body composition (ever since Streamline Fitness). Hmmmm, makes me wonder whether or not that fat free body of hers is all natural, you know. What a lousy example for a fitness professional to set!

I agree...

about Karen Voigt. I was really disappointed that she felt that she had to get breast implants. Before that, I saw her as a great role model for small breasted women who could still feel good about their bodies because they were fit. People may say "it's a personal decision" and "if it makes her feel better, then why not?", but I don't agree: she IS a fitness role model, and why in heaven's sake would she need bigger breasts to make her feel better? She's lost all credibility with me. I feel so strongly about this that I'll never buy another one of her videos again, no matter how good it is.

Pamela Anderson

The only good thing about P. Anderson's huge silicone breasts (didn't she have smaller ones installed? They still look really huge to me) is that if she ever becomes a real life guard, like she played on Bay Watch, she'll have built-in flotation devices and won't need a life jacket to rescue anyone.

I'll third that!!!

I was very disappointed when I saw Karen went for the plastic fantastics. Yes it is her body, but like you mentioned you start to wonder what other kind of "enhancements" has she had done???? and being a fitness role model she does lose credibility. Why work out to stay fit if you can just have surgery? Fitness should be more about good health then a great body!!!!

RE: Brinley, Kathryn and Dawn

Thanks for the nice words and encouragement. One day, in a perfect world, we will feel proud no matter how our bodies look and and men, and the media won't make such a big deal over big breast. I honestly believe that part of the equation. I'm tired of getting made fun of over my bee stings! Maybe Karen Voight got the same thing.
