Has anyone had a surgical breast biopsy? I had one about 17 days ago. The stitches are going away, but the breast looks deformed, and I have red marks on me. How long before, if at all, the breast looks "normal"? Any advice on further care? Also, what about future mammograms? (I have to get another to start a new baseline in December). Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I had a benign cyst removed which I think is probably bigger than a biopsy. It was about a year ago and you can barely tell it was done and it was a pretty good size (4 stitche I think). If you were to really scrutinize the area you can see a tad redness but it's barely noticable. I used neosporin scar stuff but I can't honestly say it healed any better than it would have w/o.
