boxing bag and video help

Cathlete
I have read of mention that Cathe MAY put out a boxing workout. However, I am still interested if she does not. So my question is this I do not have access to hang a bag but Sports Authority has a stand up that you fill with sand or water it adjusts to 7 or 8' and once filled weighs about 250 lbs. Anyone have one or know someone what do you think can you give me some pros or cons, yeah or nay. And how about some good boxing workouts. I get a collage dvd catalog and I do not remember seeing any in there. My hope is to get this from my family for Christmas and I will be ready if Cathe should put one out.

Thank You

This is the bag that I have:

I use it for karate so I needed a larger hitting surface but I think the smaller ones at Sports Authority would work fine for just boxing. Mine tends to slide around a bit with kicking but stays put while punching. I used to have a bag that hung from the ceiling but I prefer this much more.

I don't have any DVD's so I'm hoping Cathe still plans to make them. I just put on some rockin' music and work the bag over. It is an exhausting workout!

Good morning Beth,

When I heard Cathe was going to have a punch boxing DVD, I too went out and bought a punching bag. My Everlast bag needs to be filled with water or sand in it as well. I purchased this knowing that a bag hanging from the wall wouldn't work for me.

I'm in the same situation, and would also like to know the answer.

The idea is to die young as late as possible.

Thank You JJ: I am going to Sports Authority this afternoon to look at it I am curious as to the stability of it.

Janie. Well good hopefully we will get our answers. My collage video guide did not have any workouts so I am going to do a search and see what I come up with.
