bowflex weights

Hi, any thoughts on the bowflex dumbell system where you can dial in the weight you want. I believe it can go up to 50 lbs. I have been thinking of getting them, and wondered what people thought! Thanks so much.

I have these also and really like them. If you get the big set like I have (up to 52.5 lbs) they are a few inches longer then normal dumbbells. I still use my regular dumbbells for workouts like ME where you have a fast change and don't want to take time to change the weight but for GS and SH and most others I prefer these. My DH uses them also.

We got ours at a local fitness equipment store. We bought them just before Xmas and I believe the 552's with the stand was around $399 (Xmas special).

The other set that goes up to 25 lbs was around $299 with the stand.

I am getting mine at Sears, they are $399, and the stand is extra. The weights go up to 52.5 lbs. I have seen some for in the $200 range, but i think the weights only go up to 30lbs. My husband works for Sears, so I shop there when I can;-)
