Bowflex recall

Has anyone already received their replacement parts? Is it going to be a nightmare taking apart and reassembling? Just wondering if anyone knows yet. Hey, everyone's getting in on this recall fad! TIA

I talked to my dad today about his bowflex., He called about the recall awhile ago and still has not recieved his parts???

Are all Bowflex products affected? I bought the one from Schwinn Comp that was a TSV on QVC a couple of weeks ago. It's still not put together--takes me a LOT longer than the 45 minutes they talked about--but there's no point in finishing it if I'll just have to take it apart again. (Primal scream!) What is the defect?

It has been a couple of weeks since I contacted them. I did it on line and have not heard anything at all. I thought I would at least get an e mail response. They did show how to do it on their website.

The defects are in the lat pull-down attachment and the bench when it is in a slanted position. I would call the company before assembling to make sure you don't have to do it twice. I'm not familiar with the model you bought, but it doesn't sound anything like mine. I was contacted by mail, and then had to call to get delivery of the upgrade parts. You're not kidding about primal scream! I'll have to make sure there are no neighbors around when my new parts come.

I think the recall is just for the Power Pro model with the lat pull down attachment. I received mine in no more than 2 weeks after calling them. The assembly was very easy.
