How are you doing with the step ups?

the crunch noise in my knee turns out to be harmless. I lost one session due to being out of town and worried about my knees.
I am thrilled i have nothing to worry about!

so i am back "in step" again... after missing one of my 3 a week step up session......
but i made up for the missed session:
yesterday after my 50 minutes of bodysculpting class i did my step ups.

10 lb in each hand for 15
12 lb in each hand for 15
12 lb in each hand for 15........

I want to get 15 lb dumbells to do my last set with.
I am experimenting with pyramidin as i read in a Joyce Vedral book. i have to go back and see if the reps stay the same as the weights go up.

I have also added kick backs with resistance bands attached to a table leg and my ankle ...that isolates just the tush....

this week i did a tamilee "i want those buns" tape...which i think had a couple of fabulous exercises on it... she is into lunges where you support yourself on only one leg. Loved it.

and i am trying to do long sessions of stretching after a very hot bath on my workout days ...... i read good stretching helps build muscle too.

I LOVE doing these leg exercises....... its so satisfying to use those big muscles.. !!!!

ps...i just made my 4th step box ... now i have a 14 inch..a 10 inch, a 6 inch...and a short bench that i use to lie on for press up stuff.
If anyone wants to know how to make these boxes (like the Firm's Fanny Lifter, i can send instructions.. it's a very simple and amazingly sturdy design. I like they way they look too.
