Bosu alternative?

I might not be the best to answer this, but I just did my first BOSU class, and while some of the moves might be transferable, I think a lot of them will not. A lot of the work done on the BOSU is more like stability ball work. But, Kathryn might say something different.

Who, me? ;-)

I have both a Bosu (with a leak, so I haven't used it much) and a Reebok board. I would say they do very differnt things, for the most part.

Both work on balance, and could be used for lunges or squats, for example. But The Bosu is also used for almost a type of step aerobics (slower paced and more straight moves than Cathe's step: don't try to use her workouts on it!) and has a certain give to it.

The Reebok board (mine is gathering dust somewhere: I tried to sell it once, but the shipping cost is outrageous!) has a rotational aspect to it that the Bosu doesn't.

I can't imagine transfering a Bosu workout directly to the Reebok board or vice versa. Definitely some modifications would be needed.

Thanks so much for your replies...I think I might try to sell my Reebok board on Ebay. I dont really know what to do with it as it doesnt even come with a tape :( Anyway, thanks again - that was a huge help!
