Every now and then postings are referring to body fat percentage. Does anyone know how to measure it without using a caliper? Way back when I was in college,(back in '82) I took a "fitness for living" class and we did it by measuring certain body areas tied in with weight etc. I know it is not entirely accurate but could give me an estimate.
I have noticed some additional definition, smaller measurements, and a little weight loss ( I really don't need to lose any) but would like to know if my fat percentage is lower. Also what is a good % to strive for? It seems 16% is mentioned quite often. What % do you have to worry about messing up your cycles, etc.? Mine seem to be messed up a little since I started doing a rotation about 12 weeks ago. At times in my life,I had the tendecy to be irregular but over the last year or so my cycles were pretty good. Maybe this isn't related at all but just curious.
I am sort of curious if Cathe knows what her bodyfat % is.
Thanks,
Lynn W
