Happy Valentine’s Day to my favorite bunch of Cats!!!
Today will be a Spinervals. I had DD15’s BF fix my bike (nice to have him around – a free bike mechanic), so I’m all set. I’m looking forward to it. Not sure which one yet, though. Anyone have big plans for tonight? I’m meeting DH for lunch, then we’re going to make a special dinner at home. We’re going out with friends tomorrow night to an expensive restaurant, and did not feel like going out twice in a row and fighting the crowds. Jimmy is back to normal, so that’s a relief. Never did find out what got him, though!
Cathy – I’m looking forward to the weekend, thanks! I agree with the “smart boss” remark. The company really does treat the employees well. I liked PH abs – instead of the bicycles, I took a weight and did the side-to-sides. But I did do the crunches – those were fun is a little tricky and tough! Nice workout today! Good job at getting ‘em in in the AM! You should be darned proud of yourself!
Dallas – Glad it wasn’t too bad yesterday. I remember when I lived in North West Ohio when temps were -22 for about a week. When we hit 10 degrees, people were walking around with jackets open, enjoy the “warm” sunshine. Truly all things are relative. :+ I LOVE new shoes! They make me want to run! No, not everyone does know how to drive in the snow, some are just idiots no matter what you do, but more do than they do here
Shelly – Oh that’s HORRIBLE about New Jersey and getting a nursing license! Especially when nurses are so hard to find now! I hope you find a house soon! I understand the need and sometimes you just have to do what you have to do, but it’s sad that you cannot be with DH and the furkids! Philly is a nice area – the people are friendly and I love the city as it’s easy to get around – and there’s the nice run along the river – but hopefully you won’t be there long enough to run in the summer there! I hope whatever works best for all of you happens! Maybe you’ll stumble on the perfect house while you’re not expecting it.
Lori – Yeah! No early meeting today! If you’re not motivated, take a rest day – although sometimes I’m not motivated and by the time I get 5 minutes into the workout, I’m feeling great and raring to go!
Sunny – what do you do when you need two KB’s? I find most of the time when I would need two, they could be two different weights, so maybe that would be okay. I may hit Target tomorrow and pick up 2 more. So when you get the latest, let me know which is your favorite. With DH gone for 3 weeks, I see major shopping in my future.
Yes, Mr. Jimdog is doing very well – still snuggly, but he’s always been a snuggler, but I’m so happy he’s better! Thanks! Enjoy your workout!
Lori – oh I hope your knee feels better soon! Just take care of it! I’m feeling DOMs in my upper chest from Slo Mo – it always gets me good. My plans are above – but nothing special. Sorry to hear you’re working, though! Celebrate big this weekend without the crowds!
Judy – Funny, my sister lives in England and all of the school events have “beer tents” which bring in the most money. They are too funny. Interesting night for an event, but sounds like fun. We usually spend Valentine’s Day with friends anyway. More fun that way! Enjoy!
Wendy – oh man, so sorry to hear about DH! I hope it’s a quick bug and you can go skiing! I’m excited to hear about the 10 minute workouts from Tony!
Kristi – Oh that was sweet of DH! What a nice practical, yet loving gift! Oh man, so sorry about your bruised bum! That sounds like something I would do! Enjoy your run!
Last night was interesting because we had gusts of winds that woke me up because they sounded like the start of an earthquake! I kept expecting the house to start shaking, but the windows only rattled. Glad I got my run in yesterday! Hope it’s nice tomorrow for my run! Enjoy all!
