BFL Weekend Review

Good Saturday morning! Happy weekend!

Set your weekend goals and HIT THE MARK!!!

I'm done with today's workout. I was up in the air about what to do. I didn't get my run in last night...we got back too late last night from the baseball game (which we lost, boo hoo) so I wanted to tack on some cardio this morning with upper body work. So, I played with Drill Max and upper body. I did a cardio segment, then paused the DVD player and added in some upper body work of my own(push ups, dips, barbell rows, shoulder presses, more push ups, and MORE push ups). Then I did B&G stability ball abs. YEAH...sweaty ol' mess! lol

Today's plan is rather simple. We have a baseball game at 3pm and if we win that game, we may play later tonight. If we lose, we're done! Either way, after this baseball weekend, the ONLY sport going is basektball and even THAT is ending with play offs within a week or so! THANK THE LORD! I'm ready for some relaxing home-bound time.

Gotta shower. Kids want homemade Belgian waffles with ice cream for breakfast YUMMO! (not me...I'll pass but they LOVE them).

Morning gals!

Today will be a late evening walk with the dog for thirty minutes and im also thinking about doing a power walk on the tm. Im aching to get in some weights,but not until monday. Ive been psyching myself out now for quite some time about my eating. Im not eating bad,but not great either. Im just having a hard time staying consistant? . Sometimes i wonder if i should start taking that anti-depressant. I keep thinking of that saying " Get your mind right"....well thats my problem,its just not right-right now . how can i focus on anything if my mind isn't right?? ...still adjusting to DH's new work hours.....along with the stress of trying to find a jobx(

Gayle-Great job with your workout this morning! yay on the sports being almost over(although im sure your kids aren't too thrilled about it,lol;-))

Heidi, I made your soup this morning. It is divine!!!! Before I read the recipe I had already peeled my potatoes so I cut them and roasted them that way. They cramalized a bit. So good!
 
Hello Ladies!

What a day! I am still soaked from the water trip. I think I got a little burnt as well...oh boy! Hopefully not a bad one. I won't know until after my shower.

Gayle: Great job on your mixed cardio and weights this morning! I am with you on the time to relax thing!

Amelia: Enjoy your PW later. I am sure something will turn up when you least expect it. Keep your chin up meds are not always the answer to everything.

Belinda: Nice job on SJP! How are your abs? I hope you got a great burn. }(

Susan: I am glad that you enjoyed the soup! :9 It just works well for a quick meal on the run either hot or cold. My DD really liked this one too.

Well...it is time for a quick cleanup and off to the store. We are getting a new computer desk for DH and an arbor for the front of the house.

Good Sunday morning, girls! It's early here (5:30) and I'm awake. Today's a rest day, and I WANTED to sleep in, but my body is just used to getting up early I guess. I'm doing some PC stuff then I'm going to sit down and start a new book. House is quiet, birds are chirping outside, and kids are still asleep. LIFE IS GOOD! ;-)

Not much on the agenda today. DS has a basketball game, but we may skip it. He's really REALLY worn out from this previous week. We lost our baseball game last night (1 kid had a pretty big error that cost us 2 runs and 2 of our pitchers just couldn't get the ball over the plate) so we're DONE with baseball. Jacob (DS) is soooooo tired from this past week's camp and all the games, he's sort of out of it. So I think we're just going to lay low today. I want to run to Bed, Bath & Beyond to pick up a few things I've had my eye on, then I'd really like to clean out my garage. We'll see.

OK....have a great day. I'll check back later this morning when the rest of the world is awake!

Good morning.

Sorry I was MIA yesterday. Had to get everyone up and out the door by 7:00 a.m., which was so small feat since the guys didn't get home until after 11:00 the night before. So, the kids did the obedience competition at the fair. DD and the neighbor dog came in 3rd in her division, but DS didn't have it in him, and our pup and him did rather poorly. I'm glad he at least tried. We spent more time at the fair, but didn't stay real late because the guys definitely needed their sleep.

In a bit here, I'll be going for a run. Didn't see the need to get up early since the house still isn't stirring.

Hi ladies. I'm actually sore today from yesterday's mixh-mosh. My back is the most sore...that's good, right? :)

I actually ended up falling back asleep after my first post this morning! LOL I sat down to read my book and my eyes started getting heavy. I nodded off around 6am and didn't get up till I heard footsteps upstairs, around 8am! I feel better now!

Heading out for errands.

I forgot to tell you girls that my DH asked for monday and tuesday off and he got it(with pay)so we decided to go Camping tonight and tommorrow night and it will be my first time going so i hope i like it,LOL. It doesn't sound so bad except being in 90 degree weather all day with no air conditioner to escape too .

I got my workouts yesterday in the mail and they look authentic! I was worried they would be fakes. Remember my purchase before the fourth...super sets/push pull and rymthic step/interval max/ M.I.C

I previewed RS yesterday and im so excited....can't wait to try it! I also previewed a little bit of SS,look awesome too! im excited about all of them,even MIS...with its out dated look,LOL

So,im just about to go walk the dog for thirty minutes and thats all the time i will have before we head out to go getcamping supplies! Were heading out right after lunch! My plan is to eat reasonable today,tommrrow and tuesday...my working out will have to be cardio since im not bringing my weights(lol) and i will hit the weights either tuesday when we return or start wednesday The camp site has hiking trails

Hey girls,jut popping in to report my workout,did a 30 minute fat burn interval program on my TM...it was fun,ive got a couple of programs on my TM i haven't done yet.
