So far I am doing pretty well sticking to Renee’s STS rotation with a few modifications.
Today I will be doing an interval workout for my cardio. So my choice is Low Max.
Sherry: How was your PW yesterday? Trying to get in my workouts lately has been a challenge in its self! My sis and aunts dropped by unexpectedly yesterday afternoon so I didn’t get a chance to get back on-line.
How is your DH doing with his workouts these days? Mine is on and off….not very consistent.
I hate those restless nights! I have been having quite a few lately. I did sleep much better last night finally! Oh...I have to admit that I too tried out that new blizzard! Too funny that we both did on the same day! I had to drive to Ipswich to pick up my DD at the trainstation. She wanted to get ice cream so we all went DS and DH too.

Gayle: Thank you for the recipe! The sweet potato soup is one from Tosca Reno’s Eat Clean Diet book. If you have her cookbook it is on page 197
Roasted Garlic & Sweet Potato Soup
6 sweet potatoes
1 large cooking onion chopped
1 TB olive oil for browning onions and more for basting potatoes and drizzled garlic
1/2 roasted garlic
6 Cups chicken broth
1 or 2 cups of water
Heat oven to 350
Slice 6 large sweet potatoes in half lengthwise. Brush olive oil on cut surfaces and place cut side down on a baking sheet. Place a whole bulb of garlic (slice off top points) drizzle with olive oil. Bake uncovered for about 45 min or until sweet potatoes are tender.
Saute onions in olive oil and place in food processor. Remove half the potato pulp and place in food processor. Squeeze 1/2 the roasted garlic into the food processor and run until all are puree smooth. Place puree into sauce pan and add remaining sweet potato that has been pureed also along with broth and add water until desired consistency. Cook on medium until thoroughly heated. Enjoy this warm or cold!
