BFL TGIF 4/18

Carolyn - Have you ever read a post by one of the gals after they have run a race? It is always so inspiring - I usually end up in tears -- and it always motivates me to work harder in my workouts. Well, that's how I feel about the road trip. I'm not planning to go, but I'm not upset about it. I know the gals are going to post about every single minute -- and the way some of the ladies can tell a story, it is almost like being there!

So, hang in there. There are tons of us that aren't going. :)

And we all have our ups and downs! Okay, confession -- after my turkey on whole wheat and fruit for lunch -- I just made a trip to the vending machine. Geez, I haven't done that in like 6 months. I just had a "moment". Okay, guess what -- now I am MOVING ON!! It's done. I will spend the evening moving more and I'll eat a little less at dinner. I think sometimes we are all just too hard on ourselves!

For those of us not going on the RT, Sherry suggested a cyber road trip! This is my first time around on the forums since there has been a RT, so not exactly sure what a cyber road trip entails, or was that a joke and now I look like a total dork!

ETA: Amelia, we will miss you! Take care of those kiddos and pop in every now and then and let us know how you are doing!

Did you see this?

Stephanie - you can't possibly look like any more of a dork than I do. I cannot stop singing BOW-CHICK-A-WOW-WOW. I don't know if Sherry was just kidding abut a cyber RT or not, but I think it's a great idea.

I checked out that website address. But now it's gone. So is that post. I don't think we were supposed to see that yet... }( It was a pretty cool looking website, though!

Amelia - go be a mommy!! That's what is most important. Have fun with your little munchkins, but don't forget about us...;-)

Stephanie - You have posted some really inspirational words today with the quote and then your response to Carolyn. When I ask myself: "what have I added to todays thread", the only thing I can come up with is BOW-CHICK-A-WOW-WOW. That says alot right there. LOL!!!:p

Hi girls,

still no workout! Does anybody wants to come over and help me get rid of stuff ? I didn't think so! Why do we keep/have and buy so much? My kids keep so much crap! Everthing is going! I do keep a clean house, I buy too much!My friends think I am crazy (they think I should sell it) put I don't have the time to sit and sell stuff! I have to be ready in three weeks. If Alesia doesn't want it it's going! In the military we only can ship so much and I don't want to pay! Do you keep stuff (drawings, toyes..)from your kids?

Off to more organizing!

LOL! We watched Alvin and the Chipmunks last weekend. :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and gets out to enjoy the beautiful Spring weather. :D

Talk to you tomorrow,
Kathy

Melissa! STOP IT with the BOW-CHICK-A-WOW-WOW! Darn you! LOL!!!

Belinda, yes, I save all that "stuff" too! But if you haven't looked at it or used it in a year, toss it! You've lived without it for that long, obviously you can live without it!

Have a good night Kathy!

I haven't even seen the movie yet! That's just from the darn commercial. x(

Belinda - yes, I save all of that stuff too. Especially schoolwork. Now that DD is in 2nd grade, we are working on our 3rd tote filled with papers. DH pointed out just a last week that we will eventually have 13 totes if I keep it up!! It's hard to throw them away though.

Kathy - nice to "see" you! :+

Glad I am not the only one keeping all that stuff! I only have like 5 boxes left with kids stuff in my garage, I will get rid of all that stuff this time! My kids are 19 and 24 years old! HALLO! LOL! I also have way to much dishes and Tupperware! The most crap in the garage is my DH's tools, but he promised to go through them in 3 weeks! He also keep to much crap from the and buys more and more! Why do we have 3 garden hoses, we only use one! I am really glad he isn't here! LOL! My DS ask me for money for cloth, his whole closet is full! I do need to go through his cloth, I alread have a bag full that needs to go! His crap is bleached, I can't believe he is wearing bleached cloth! I don't use bleach!

Off to my workout! I will be back to report my workout!

:7 HA! Just came to read quickly...and to say that I am now singing that Chipmunk song in my head!!! LOL

Hi everybody! I've got 7 boys running around outside in the gorgeous weather. My power walk this afternoon was great, and I wor ethe GPS. Today we actually FELT like we were walking slower. Bill said he's getting tired from all my activity! lol

Kathy-next week, I'm planning on doing ONE LB workout EARLY in the week with LIGHT weights. 2 UB HEAVY workouts (P90X, probably), and my scheduled runs. Walks with Bill, too, since he's home next week as well.

OK....so I was just going to type a SHORT message, but now I'm rambling.

OOOOOPS! Now the boys are telling me they found one of our baby rabbits in the basement sash window....gotta go fetch him out! LO

Gayle

Hi girls,

I ended up doing Step Blast "Combo 2, 3 & Challenge – 45 Minutes). I will do my UB workout tomorrow!

Belinda

Belinda - I love that SB premix. The Challenge is just the best!!

Whew, I just finished HSTA Cardio & LB premix. This was ALOT tougher than I thought it would be. I had to pause a few times. I think my knees are going to bother me after all those leg presses. I'm going to go take some Advil just in case. I also tacked on leg extensions, 3 sets of 15 @ 60 lbs; and the floor work from Butts & Guts. My legs are FRIED. I think I already have DOMS in my buttocks..:+

Have a good night everyone!!
