Good morning, ladies.
Sherry-I love kids' BDay parties. We've done all kinds of themes...Star Wars, mini golf, football (I spray painted a football field on the grass in my backyard), eggs (DS' fave Dr. Seuss book was Scrambled Eggs Super so we had an 'egge' party, lol), pumpkin, etc. Sounds like YOUR party will be fun too!
Kathy-enjoy your rest day. The light at the end of the tunnel, right? Dry run! Good luck! I peeked at the forecast last night and YIKES on those temps we're getting.
I just got done with my UB workout. I chose PUB and at the end, I tacked on one more exercise for each body part to MAX out....shoulder presses, one-arm DB rows, travelling push ups. I don't know what it is ladies, but I've been CRAVING heavy HEAVY weight work lately.
Today's plan. Kids to Rec Program, while I cut the grass (again, ugh). After I pick them up, older DS has baseball practice while younger DS is going to a friend's house to swim. While they're doing that, I'm meeting my friend (whose mom just passed away) for lunch at Applebee's (my idea, to stay with clean eating). Then a quiet late afternoon. THEN...THEN....ADULT DATE NIGHT! Dave and I are going to a local comedy club tonight with a few other couples in my neighborhood. I'm SOOOOOOOO excited. I need my adult time right now. With the kids home and all 3 of us together at every moment, we're already getting on each others' nerves. lol
What are YOUR weekend plans???
Tomorrow, I will be able to post in the morning and that's it! I'm planning CCPP tomorrow with the gang. Then we leave for DS' baseball tournament. It's about 75 minutes away. Then when we get home tomorrow around dinner time, our neighborhood has an annual adult softball game and party. So we'll be busy from the time we leave tomorrow morning to the time we return after that game/party. Then Sunday depends on how we do at Sat's game. So that's still up in the air, although I DO know Sunday will be a much-deserved rest day! lol
