I took a rest day yesterday!:mad: I had no energy what so ever!
I will do cardio and UB today! BBL after my workout!

Anybody remember ME? lol

I'm back. It's been a roller coaster of 2 months, since the Road Trip. But, as usual, I don't have time to get into it right now. Kids have to get on the bus in 10. And I've got to switch the laundry before we head out. Then it's straight to the grocery store to stock my fridge and pantry.

Long story short.....I started a brand spankin' new BFL rotation today. Started off with Lower Body (by the book) and Stretch Max with the band. I'm wobbly already.

I've missed you all. But I've thought of you often.

BBL sometime, most likely after school/work.

Hey are you still doing the push-up challenge? I am on week 2 day 2. They changed the amounts to be done on the schedule! You might have to check this out again.

Hi Amelia: One of those mornings for me. DS tried to stay home....made DD miss her train! I just dropped him off and now I have to wait for the next train to come at 9:20! This threw off my whole morning plan!!! Darn!
My workout will have to wait until later this afternoon because I have to go to work soon.

Have a great workout! I am currently waiting on some Apple Pumpkin bread baking in the oven. I decided seeing as I can't go anywhere until after DD catches the train I mine-as-well cook. When I get upset I cook or clean. Weird huh?

You'll have to let us know what happened!

Boy do I have DOMS in my sides and ribs! I think this is from yesterdays ab workout from B&G. Trying to inhale I can feel all the muscles pulling. :)

I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA again. This week has been a whirlwind. We got some exciting news on Tuesday night from our daughter and son-in-law. Yep, we're going to be grandparents (unofficially, she took a couple of PG tests but her doctor's appointment isn't until Monday). YIKES! I was completely in shock, so was DH. I'm so happy she finished college last year (she's 24 yrs old now…25 when it's born), so that's one less worry for her. We know it'll be tough for them but offered to help as much as possible. Can you believe it? A whole new chapter in life is opening up…..I'm going to be a Grandma!!!!

I’m so glad to see everyone is posting again (welcome back Melissa and Gayle!) Congratulations to Amelia on her new job, too! Belinda, I hope your sister is doing well…I was so sorry to read about her illness. Heidi, great workouts! How’s the new bike? Steph, I hope Spot is doing better this week. Hi to everyone I may have missed, I’ll try to post more personals tomorrow. Life is hectic with the two classes, work, marathon training, and home….yikes! T-minus two more long runs and I’m in taper mode, woohoo!

Hi Amelia & Stephanie and anyone else I missed!!

Did 20 minutes of HIIT on the bike this morning. I am so sore from the kettlebell workout I did on Wednesday night and since it was the first time I did it, I don't even think I gave it my all!

DH and I are celebrating our 12 year wedding anniversary this weekend! I'm so excited. DD is spending tomorrow night and my parents house and DH and I are going to this restaurant that has the most delightful dessert on Earth!!! So, you guessed it, tomorrow is my cheat day!!! Well not all of tomorrow, just the dessert part...:D

BBL when I've had enough of this working-thing!!! ;)

Kathy! That is so exciting! I have goosebumps! :) Congratulations to you all! How far along? Is she (your DD) feeling good? It must be a shock to the two of them! To the best of health for all.

Your workouts have been great. How have your runs been lately? I bet you can't wait for that taper period!

My bike is great! I just received my gel seat today so of course tonight I am going to try it out. ;) It has been pretty hectic here. Very busy at work and at home. So now it is my time to do something for myself...off to that bike for a 40min ride.

Hey Melissa! I believe that you and your DH deserve a Congratulations too!!! I hope you have a great escape night with your DH. ;)What sinfully delish desert are we talking about? ;)

Nice job on the DOMS TOO! Which Kettlebell exercise did you do? Is this the new Firm one? Ya...I still like my old Firm workouts along with Cathe's.

That Apple Pumpkin bread is from Tosca Reno's cookbook. Pg 25. It actually is a muffin recipe but I am too lazy to plop it out into a muffin pan. ;) I slice the bread into about 10slices worth. The kids all love this too! My DS took it to school for health class and all the kids gobbled it up. They all wanted this recipe for their Moms. I thought that was really cute.

Well....off to that bike workout!

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't gotten back online until now. I just cleaned up from a clean dinner (grilled chicken, baked sweet pot and grilled peppers/onions). YUM! Day 1 is about to be in the bag....but I need to keep my guard up after the kiddos go to bed.

I love reading all of your updates. Baby (grandbaby, no less, to a woman who is NOT old enough to be a grandma)! Melissa's anniversary (enjoy your alone-time weekend!). Belinda, I'm sorry to hear about your sis. Mind to fill me in on the details??? A new job and more weight loss! WOO HOO!

OK....I'll take a quick minute to fill you in on what's been going on since the Road Trip in July, which was when I fell off this check-in.

Road Trip in July. AWESOME TIME!
Home, then SO and I took all our kids (plus one friend) to Cape May NJ to meet up with Jerry from the boards. He got me a great rate at his hotel, so we all hit the beach for 4 days. On the way home, we stopped by the Uno restaurant and hotels for the August Road Trip and I met up with Cyndi, kathy S and Mama Deb again. We all had lunch, then we returned home. Then the last of the summer started to slip by and Fall Baseball was about to start up. However, Jacob broke his pinky finger and needed surgery to place 2 pins in the bone to set it straight. Casted and 'pinned' for 2.5 weeks. He got the pins out last Tuesday and was on the ball field THAT NIGHT! LOL In the meantime, I'm PTA Pres this year and I'm enjoying it! It's a lot of work, but nothing overwhelming. It's a matter of staying organized and true to your word and promises. I LOVE IT! I'm still working at the school part time in the cafe, but I'm not liking it all that much anymore. I want to work with smaller groups so I can really SEE the difference I can make.

On the boyfriend front, things are going well and I LOVE this guy! I've told him, but he hasn't returned the words (yet). Last weekend, he ended up staying the night while the kids were home, and that's the first time that ever happened. My boys asked a few questions, and I realized it's TIME to have THE TALK with him, to find out where, exactly, he stands with US. I need the answer because of my kids. THEY saw the commitment last weekend, and now I need to know if there IS one. SO...that talk is on tap this weekend, as soon as I get him alone, which has been a HUGE task lately.

SO.......................fitness-wise. I've been struggling since the Road Trip. I came home and reality smacked me HARD! I had a very hard time getting back into it, and one week led to another, and that brought me up to yesterday. Since the RT, I'd workout for a week but eat horribly, then eat clean and not workout, then do it perfectly, only to binge for 2 weeks. I realized it's a lot emotional stuff I have. So last night I sat down and did my worksheet for today, and I feel SOOOOOOOOOO much better!

That's about it. Sorry to bore you! LOL

My plan for tomorrow: HIIT, and I'm thinking either one of the iTread sprint workouts, or LIC cardio premix, which I LOVE! Plus abs and Stretch Max.

Tomorrow, Im also making Chicken Noodle Soup with Rutabaga! YUMMO!
