BFFM Followers..... ? about timing your meals

Hi,

I am reading Tom's book and he suggests eating 31/2 hours apart for each meal. When do you eat your first meal? I guess I was wondering if someone could post how they go about fitting in their meals.
I was going to do 5 meals the baseline menu. I just can't seem to figure out when I should eat.

Thanks,
Elaine

Hi Elaine, I just pretty much start when I wake up and it works out pretty well for me.

Meal #1 7:30am
Meal #2 11:30am (I'll sometimes have a weee snackage if I need it at 10:30)

Meal #3 2:30pm
Meal #4 5:30pm
Meal #5 8:30pm - this is usually the smallest one

HTH!

Hi Elaine,

Like Suzanne, I start early and usually eat my first meal at 6:30 or 7:00, depending how early I have to be in at work. I also sometimes sneak in a snack at 8:45 before since I teach and don't get a break between 9:00 and 12:30. Then I eat right at 12:30, and have dinner at 5:00 (which is a little longer than he recommends). Most nights I'll also have a snack about 8:00 or so.

I've actually found it really hard to eat the full 350-calorie meals he recommends at each meal, so my mini-meals have been smaller, but I've still had great results the last few weeks following his guidelines. I've also been having trouble getting in as much protein as he recommends, but I'm still getting more protein than I used to.

HTH, too!

I have a schedule similar to Leanne's and I just can not always get that 2nd breakfast in at the right time. Maybe I'll just do it a bit earlier and see how it goes.

Thanks for the examples that helps alot. I am a very rigid person when it comes to schedules. I get my nose bent out of shape when my schedule gets muffed up.
