I've read your recent posts today, a couple of questions, if you don't mind sharing it with me, we look about the same in our body shape, how tall are you, how much do you weigh, when you run, how long does it take you, are you running for an hour, 30 min. for the 6.2 miles?
You are such a huge inspiration to me, I want to challenge myself more.
Thanks

Thanks for answering my post so quickly under the Lower Body Challenge 7/28, but I wanted to see if I could get alittle more info from you, not trying to be too nosey, but since I seem to be very close to the same body type as you, was wandering about your Ht. and Wt. I believe I'll start incorporating running into my cardio at least 1, maybe 2 times a week and build up. Thanks again for the information you've already share. I apologize in advance if I've made you uncomfortable in asking you to share that with this forum. Some people it bothers and others don't mind.

Melissa,

Hi! I guess I missed this post awhile back. I am 5' 5" and weigh in the upper 120s. My body fat is 19%.

Have you incorporated running into your workouts?

Have a great day!!

Beverly!!!!!
You answered my post! I was so very afraid I'd offended you in some way by asking you these questions. Thank you for answering me and giving such great inspirations! Because of you and Cathe's suggestion to run in her August rotation, I've added running. It's wonderful! I ran in high school a little and even in college for a PE class, but nothing long term. I had forgotten how calming and invigorating it is and how natural it feels to me. I'm now up to 2.5 miles 3 days a week, I want to get up to running about 6 miles a day 3 times per week, close to what you run I think. I'm fortunate to live on a 30 acre farm and I run the perimeter with my 2 dogs, getting them to exercise too! Once around is 9/10 of a mile, so I've been running 3 times around to make 2 miles and 7/10's, I'm working up slowly. This is my second week at 2.5 miles, so I plan to do this distance this week and then add next week. Thanks again Beverly for being so helpful and inspiring. If I did not have all of you guys on here to motivate me, I'd probably get discouraged and quit. I love this site!
