best way to improve flexibility?

I am looking to add a flexibility day to my june rotation. are there any specific workout that you have done that you felt really improved your flexibility?

i just trust what you all have to say, so i'm interested in getting some opinions before i purchase anything. thanks in advance :)
 
Yoga has helped me more than anything else. Also try any pilates/yoga/ballet/stretch fusion type workouts. I like Reach by Kari Anderson. I also do power yoga workouts which I love. Cathe's Stretch Max is also very good. Her first workout without equipment is my favorite.

I have done yoga in the past in a class room and it was very good for flexibility. But now that I work out mainly at home I have not kept it up using yoga DVDs: I did buy one by Rodney Yee, but I didn't like it too much.

I am thinking of trying pilates, like More Than Mat series which has 3 DVDs and you can find this on collagevideo.com. I have previewed them on collagevideo.com and they look great. I can't wait to try them. Janis Saffell, Winsor Pilates and Jenifer Kries and There is Tracey Mallet Renew.
