Best Jeans for Athletic Thighs?

Cathlete
Hi all,
I have shorter legs, muscular, no hips and a small waist. I too live in blue jean hell. I need a good jean to wear with flat shoes. I have some wide leg types that look okay (get the 'Easy Wide Leg" jean at victoriassecret.com) they are pretty cheap and very cute.
But I need a straighter leg that will slide over my thighs without grabbing in all the wrong places? Any suggestions?
And guess what? I swear I am the only woman in the Universe who cannot wear Seven for all mankind brand jeans! Horrible on my body type!

Is anyone built like I am? Thanks for your help!!!

I am very hard on my jeans, so my everyday pairs have to be inexpensive. So for those, I just go to Penny's or Kohl's and grab the ones that say "Boyfriend" cut...style...whatever. They are looser through the thigh and tend not to flare too much at the bottom. Also, they carry the smaller sizes (in the junior section).

I am very short (just shy of 5 foot) and my short little limbs bulk easily. I have a heck of a time after a long run and my legs are all pumped up from the miles. I need a wider thigh, for sure!

Wait you have athletic thighs, lucky you! :7 I'm still working on mine!

How about having a pair tailored to fit you better? If you were going to spend the $$ for the Sevens, then just get a good pair and have them altered. I'm 5'1", so my choices are narrow for jeans as well, and I have them tailored sometimes.

Oh no! You're not alone with the Seven jeans. They claim to flatter every body type....but mine! I'm built like you, and my preference is True Religion jeans. I simply will never go back!

If you're not interested in the designer option, Aberbrombie (NOT the Ezra Fitch line) has been tried and true with me, and typically about $60/pair.

Try Lucky Easy Riders. They work for me but I usually order a size smaller than I normally wear because they run big. You can get them in 29 1/2 lengths on their website. Gap also has some straight boyfriend jeans that might work and I believe they come in petite also. Saturday jeans by Polo (Ralph Lauren) are a classic "boyfriend-fit" jean. These all work for me. I'm 5'1" and have some nice thighs, too. :)

513's from Levi's (Low or regular ride slouch bootcut)..."Boyfriend" style, bootcut (former Levi's outlet DM here!!)...They're a slouch (higher in the back, so no crack, low in the front)...I have 6 pairs, and they're my everyday jeans...Jrs sizing...A true fit (not one size up or down)...

Try Levi's 542 and 515. Also, JCPenney carries a line called Mixit and the jeans have a great fit. They're also very affordable. I hope this helps.

Oh you guys!

I am writing these down right now! I have True Religions too! I had like 5 pairs and gave away all but two of my faves. My DH thinks they cut my body in half because of the lower pocket placement and low rise (my legs are on the shorter side) and I have to wear a heel with them, so I wear 'em occasionally, but they are not a practical jean everyday.
But I will look into the JCPenney ones, never have gone into that store, so it will be fun. They probably have the Levis too?
I have tried the boyfriend jean at the Gap (an editor in Elle magazine was raving about them, so of course I had to try!) oops, they fit me horribly! I am just happy that other people have the same problem. I see those women with super long skinny legs that look so dang good in jeans and sometimes its hard ya know! But I always tell myself, do the best with what the good lord gave ya!;)

My problem with jeans is the gaposis at the waist in the back. I was directed to www.zafu.com - it has you answer questions about your particular body type and comes up with a list of options in all price ranges, even includes stores that carry the brands selected.

Kind of a cool site! Although I haven't gone shopping to see if they were right or not - yet!
