Best Flat Iron

I'm looking for a flat iron that will smooth and leave hair soft and shiny. I have somewhat fine hair, but there is a ton of it. It is mostly straight, but takes high heat to curl or straighten.

I love my GHD personally. I've had it for 5 years and it's still as good as day 1. I've owned 2 CHIs and they both broke after about a year. Folica has really good prices and sales from time to time.

I am the opposite

Did not like the GHD at all. My CHI is still going strong after 6 years. I have thick, shoulder length hair.

Like you, I was on the search for a great straightener. I bought a "Babyliss" one about this time last year from amazon. I don't use it every day (I'm more of a curling iron girl), however every time I do use it, I thank my lucky stars. It is amazing!

I bought a BaByliss pro nano titanium (mine is blue) and I love it. Like the last poster I don't use it everyday but when I do it does an awesome job!

Mine is the blue one also. I realize now the link I shared displays the one with the animal print. Mine is also a little wider, perhaps 1-1/2" wide.
