Best Fitness Shoes

I am in the market for new excercise shoes, for stepping, kickboxing, insanity, etc. I do not run (not a runner) so trying to find a good pair any suggestions?

I just purchased the Asics Upshot & am loving them. They have good support & are very cushy. I do step, kickboxing & weight training - I'm not a runner, either.

Ryka!!!

I adore my Ryka Assist XT2s. They are truly the most supportive and most comfortable shoes I have used for the type of training you described (basically most everything besides running and cycling). The toe box is very roomy, the heel is cushioned and supportive (but doesn't pinch), and the soles are sturdy but not stiff.

Cathe is pretty consistent in wearing Rykas in her videos, and she's the reason I tried them out in the first place. I know she has worn the Assist line in the past, and for the recent series I remember reading that she wears Ryka Transitions.

If you are looking to buy online, I typically shoe shop from Zappos.com because their return policy is so amazing (365 days to return, free shipping on both ends, etc.). Good luck!

I second Lisa, I don't have any Ryka's yet but I've been in the market for the right pair. From what I've learned about them they sound great.
