Belly buttons!

So..... does anybody still have a belly button?!

Oddly enough, I *do*! I met up with a pg friend last week who is due 5 weeks after me (I'm 34 weeks along). Her belly button is GONE! And I mean GONE! It's not even an outie, it's just completely smooth and NOT THERE! I could hardly believe it. As round as my belly is I still have an innie. Granted, I have the world's deepest belly button, but no matter how big my belly gets in pregnancy I've never ever had an outie.

She thinks mine is wierd, I think hers is wierd....
so what's yours look like?!?!?

My belly button has been sticking out for months! I tried covering it up with things like tape and bandaids, but nothing would work, so I've just accepted that my stomach always looks like it's nipping out

Lisa, I saw a lady at the grocery store YEARS ago that was pregnant. Her bb was sticking out so far it looked like a BONER!!! I felt so bad for her! Yours will be all tucked back in soon enough!

still flat tummy here at about 8 weeks ha. But I usually start to have a flat belly button by 6 mo and by 7 it "pops" out some. Its so weird. ha.

Mine never popped out either. I still had an innie the whole way through. Thank God!
I have "issues" with belly buttons. Like some people hate feet, I hate belly buttons!!!

Kate - I'm just like you. A total deep innie so I have never had an outie or disappearing belly button. You're getting so close to giving birth! Are you ready???

My tummy is absolutely enormous, but I still have a belly button. Three and a half more weeks to go!! I haven't lost my belly button ever when pregnant (knock on wood)!!

No disappearing bb for me. I did develop a hood (or dimple) right above my bb though---it has stayed with me. Anyone else have that?

I am only 16 weeks and just barely showing, so far my belly button is normal. and i hope it stays that way! I've had an innie my whole life. The whole pg thing is new to me, so i have no idea what to expect! Interesting topic though
