I recently began running this past weekend. I have searched for books on the proper way to do this via the net but have been unsuccessful with finding anything that discusses running in simple terms. My ? is, as a beginner, how often and how much? When do you know that you are over doing it with running? I have started with a run walk combination, did this for 2 days, 1.5 miles in 12 minutes the 1st day, and because I was so sore from the 1st day, 1.5 miles in 15 minutes the 2nd day. Please...I need help. TIA.
