Been put on bed rest

RE: Hi Alli!

Wow you all! Thank you so much for thinking of us.

Robin - I appreciate you checking in very much. Thank you

Kellie - I can't believe your little man is already 7 months old!! How is he? Believe it or not, when I was in the hospital I thought of you and your son. It gave me a lot of comfort "knowing" somebody who had been through this and have it turn out well. I hear ya about the rotations. Me, I'm buying and swapping so many exercise tapes it's not even funny! I guess it's my way of still participating :)

Debbie - How is that Granddaughter of yours? I bet she's really getting around about now :)

Erica - Yep, I've had a great time trading as many video's as possible ;-) I'm allowed to get up for short periods of time but to be honest, I'm getting to the point where I don't want to move all that much...lol

Well it seems our Miss Katie is a big time thumb sucker. The past 4 u/s she has been sucking away on that thumb. You can even see the tounge move up an down which proves she's really sucking. She is also "breathing" at every u/s. This morning she had lost her thumb and had a heck of a time finding it. Everytime she would brush her hand up by her face, she immediately started rooting for it. She'd stretch that head back and to the side looking for it. She also kept moving the thumb up and down in hopes it would land in her mouth...lol. She also would open her mouth as wide as possible. At one point she had her fist in it :). Finally she got the thumb back in there. She worked so hard to get that thumb in there. I was so proud of her when she did it :)

The u/s tech says I'm going to have my hands full with this one (of course, she's MY child. All my kids are full of it :) ) with as much as she moves. She also likes to keep her left ankle crossed over the right one. That is when she's not kicking me or trying to push her feet out my side. She also seems to think that it won't be much longer before Katie comes. Please Lord! Let that be true!!

It is getting very hard though. I am so miserable it's not even funny. I've done my share of complaining on other threads so I'm not going to continue here...lol

Thanks everybody for thinking of us :)

RE: Hi Alli!

Hi Alli! What a cute post! How fun to know so much about your baby before she has even made it into the world. Hang in there!

RE: Hi Alli!

Ally,
I hope you're not uncomfortable for too much longer. It was nice reading about all the things you saw in the u/s. You be up and at 'em in no time.

RE: Hi Alli!

That description of baby Katie trying to find her thumb brought tears to my eyes, how sweet! What little miracles babies are.

Hang in there, your going to make it! (sounds like something Cathe says on interval max)

RE: Hi Alli!

Alli,

How are you and baby Katie? Sounds like you are taking advantage of this time to start bonding with her...I know that for me it was amazing how much I bonded with Kyle before he was born and it was comforting to me.

Kyle is doing just great! My tiny 3lb, 8oz baby now weighs 18lbs!!! It is amazing how fast he has grown. He seems to be doing fine developmentally--maybe a tiny bit behind but nothing to be concerned about. We are truly blessed as he is a very sweet, pleasant baby.

Just wanted to let you know that Kyle and I are thinking of you and Katie...take care and keep your faith and before you know it this will be behind you!

Kellie
