I am into my 3rd week of working out with Cathe, CTX DVD, and am thinking of getting the troy lite barbell. I am using 3 and 5 lbs. dumbell right now. Will the barbell be more effective? As a beginner, should I get the troy lite barbell set or should I just get lighter plates (1.5, 2.5 and 5 lb. plates) than what is included in the set. This is my first time working with weights and am not sure how my body will react to this. I just want lean muscles and a toned look. Your opinions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
