When I do dumbbell concentration curls, I rest my elbow against the inner part of my leg right past my knee. I've never done concentrations curls with a barbell but I'm sure it would be in the same place.
when I googled it all the youtubes and descriptions show it between your legs but on the chart for 1RMs it looks like Cathe has her elbows on her knees.
I don't have my STS dics yet to check out how the exercise is actually performed.
