I just ordered a Cathe baby-doll tee and The Classics DVD. At a time when I'm trying to pay off my credit card, it makes no sense for me to toss another $75 on it. I don't even need The Classics. It's just the only DVD of Cathe's that I don't have and some part of me needs the sense of completion for my Cathe collection. Don't feel bad Luna--I'm actively bidding on Ebay for the CTX and the Timesaver workouts, how crazy is that!! I was thinking about bidding on the Slow and Heavy, but it's already at 37.50 and it's 49.99 on Cathe's website, what do you think?
For that price, I should probably pay new, no?

Awww, thanks Mary. My logical, fiscally-responsible side is just slapping my impulsive side around.

If Slow & Heavy is at $37.50, then I would just order it from SNM. That way at least you can exchange it if you get a faulty or scratched copy.

You'll love CTX and The Timesaver. I hope you win the auctions!

I know what you mean. CTX I find out today, Timesaver not until wednesday. I've only done ebay once a couple years ago and did a "pay now' and never had to bid so this is all new to me. They have Gym style legs too, what about it?
Look what happens when you surf the net on a weekend--ugh!!

Gym Style Legs is awesome! Legs & Glutes is the only leg workout harder than GS. Of course, this is only my opinion. A bonus of GS Legs is that it's (I believe) the only Hardcore DVD where Cathe wears shorts. Her legs are truly inspiring!

Ooh, I have to chime in here, even though it's none of my business, just to mention Leaner Legs. Ohmigosh! That's the hardest leg workout I've ever done in my life! I would rather do both L&G AND GS Legs rather than LL. Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration, but the workout's nickname, Meaner Legs, is NOT an exaggeration. You've just GOT to try this one. Yikes!

I've done LL about a dozen times and it has never lived up to the Meaner Legs moniker in my experience. But, and I would like to emphasize this 'but', if it doesn't absolutely kill my legs, I take full responsibility for doing something wrong. I think I don't go heavy enough with LL and since it's so short, I don't feel like my legs have been decimated like they are after L&G or GSL. Again, probably something I'm doing wrong.

Oh Luna, I know how you feel. I'm trying so desperately hard not to order any Cathe right now, because I'm trying to pay off all my debt. It's almost as much of a challenge as not eating sweets!

Do you think Gym Styles or Legs & Glutes would help slim down my legs? I HATE them so much - I want them to be skinny. My SO told me last night when I was lamenting this very thing that it's just my body type and unless I become anorexic and lose all my muscle, I probably won't ever have skinny legs. That made me want to weep;(

Thanks for the emotional support on the credit card issue!

In February, I did the free-style training thing a lot of Catheites were doing. Essentially, you work your legs just about every day but not at your maximum weight. I used GSL, L&G, S&H Legs, PS Legs, you name it. My legs slimmed down quite a bit, especially in the saddle bag and knee areas. On the downside, all of the contant work made my legs feel pretty useless. Just going upstairs was taxing. I loved the results though. Since I've had some diet/exercise screw-ups in the past month, I think I might do that type of work again to shape up a bit more before the roadtrip. So try it and prove your SO wrong!

I have the Legs and Glutes so it will be interesting if my bid wins the Gym style legs to see how it compares to L&G.
I've only done the Step heat of the 3 and I really liked it.
If I had rate them(from watching the other 2) I would say Step heat, then Step Max then Step Jam.
Anyone else want to rate them??

Hey Shelley...join the leg haters club with me!! I am pretty happy the rest of me....upper body is fine...I even (gasp) kinda like my abs! But from my hips to my upper thighs.....UUGHHHH!!! I so wish I coulf find something that works to slim them down. I think I am at a good size everywhere else....if you find something that really helps let me know!!

I have Step Jam, Step Heat, and Mega Step Blast. I haven't done the first two yet, but Mega Step Blast was.... well, a blast.. LOL... I really enjoyed that workout.
 
Luna.... I did KickMax for the first time Friday night and those leg conditoning drills at the end had my legs screaming....
 
Dear Luna,

There is nothing wrong with you...you just happen to have Cathe-i-tis. It can strike suddenly, without any warning. The first symptom is a burning desire to have all things Cathe, which in turn results in a flaming hot credit card. Just think, there are plenty worse things you could be spending your money on.

Now, I am in the leg haters club too. I have fat legs, have always had fat legs and that is that.
