Back to Cathe After 2 Wks of Yoga

I just got back from vacation where I didn't have access to weights or a step so I decided to do a short power yoga rotation (Bryan Kest's 1, 2, and 3) plus walking. Since I've gotten back, I've decided to do the following rotation for a few weeks:

MON: Bootcamp
TUE: Power Yoga
WED: C&W
THU: Power Yoga
FRI: C&W
SAT: Bootcamp

This way, I can still continue full yoga workouts plus get some weight work as well as cardio. I normally do one full yoga workout a week and the rest of the time I do a 15 min practice as an add-on to my Cathe workouts. I LOVE yoga and I think it's very beneficial, especially as you get older.

I've always been curious whether I could maintain my strength with just doing yoga and so far it has not been the case. I stuck to the weights I normally use for BC and it really wiped me out! I found myself modifying quite a bit. (C&W was no problem, however.) I'm sure I just need to give it more time.

I'm also curious what doing BC twice a week will do for my core. My abs are my weakest area (I always modify Cathe's ab work) but I keep plugging away and seem to be making small incremental progress. I do have some definition for the first time EVER in my 41 years thanks to Cathe; they're just still so weak.
