My boss called me into his office this afternoon and shut the door behind him. I, of course, was thinking the worst. But it was all good news. Apparently the other boss's wife (who is running all the design, sales and marketing at our new big condo project) thinks I'm the bee's knees and wants me to get more involved and work more closely with her. It will probably involve more money (he mentioned that me and the other girl in the office deserve a raise, but didn't say how much). It will definitely offer more challenging work and possibly being out of the office some

ETA: <-- the book is a memoir of her life, and she describes herself as being very ugly because she was very gawky and had terribly buck teeth which her parents couldn't afford to fix
