Awesome - so excited - had to share

So I posted the other day about how I REALLY want to do the Susan G. Komen 3-day challenge (and to those of you already signed up or who have blogged about it - kudos - and thank you for your inspiration!) But you gotta' commit to a lot of money. DH says I have to have to money lined up before I can even register. Since yesterday I've lined up $500 - I'm on my way.

But get this - my kids' preschool / daycare. The owner says if I can line up the funds to register - they'll do a reverse penny drive. Basically each classroom (there are 8) has a giant bin where the goal is to get the most pennies. If you want to mess up an opposing class, you throw in nickels, dimes, quarters, or dollars. The sum of all "other money" is subtracted from the total penny count! Isn't that generous of them??!! Makes me want to work it even harder! :)

I am continously amazed at how generous people are for charities. I have little problems fund raising as I think people just love to give to a good cause to support someone they know if even in the most indirect way. I think it's wonderful what you're doing!

Lorrie,

This is wonderful!!! Good luck !! Keep us posted to let us know how you do in you fund raising and in the walk!! :)
