Hey Everyone !!!

I'm in SUCH a good mood for a Saturday! I don't have to go to work, it is sunshiny out, ... I'm happy!

My plan is to start ME after I get done here. And then after lunch, we're all going to load up the Durango and head to a bike trail , which I read about, but we've never been to. It's going to be fun (I hope!). This kind of takes care of my "biking" workout for tomorrow. BUT, I'm thinking I might do a run tomorrow morning.. because I CAN!

Kathy
: You're on week #2 then? I'm looking forward to GS. I haven't done those in a long long time.... I'm done with the endurance and full body weight work. Been doing that style for the last 2 months now...

Hottie: Where were you guys all day yesterday? I know, we left our kitties alone when we went to the beach. Left them enough food and water and the AC on, but they were all crazy on us when we got home on Thursday night. LOL! Have fun with 2 hours today! Will you split it up?.... Let us know what you do....

BBL!

Good morning!! We are in a holiday inn in Auburn. How's that for camping?! For all our hemming and hawing yesterday, we finally left in a big hurry, and we're realizing we're not very prepared -- like, we don't have any utensils or plates or anything! We have one small cold pack, so I guess we're mostly eating backpacking food/noodles. Yummm! Not! I see weight loss in my future..... well, I hope there's some saving grace.

No workout for me this morning, even though there's a fitness center. We're going to hustle. Over and out for probably a week, we'll see!

YAWN -- So I woke up at 530a and tried to shnuggle with Joe but he was all like, wouldn't you rather sleeeeeeeep? And then the next thing I knew was that it was 730! Chris, I just had a long day. Long day at lab, then I tried to do electrolysis on the westside, we went to get dinner while we were there, and then we went to Kohls because I had a $10 off of $20 coupon, plus 15% off purchase, plus no sales tax weekend and Joe desperately needed pants and he took FOREVER to pick them and then we were in a huge line blah blah blah....I am almost certainly going to break up my workouts and I'm going to count the 1rm testing as part of it. I have to see how I'm going to schedule everything since my friend who had graduated two months ago is back in town and is treating me to a "deluxe" massage. Sweet!!!

Kathy -- that is such a good workout! I love that one. But I'll be honest, I'm eagerly awaiting STS...

Chris -- if Joe would wake up early enough, I would totally go biking with him. The temperature has dropped dramatically and its so pleasant. It's below 70 degrees in my hosue right now -- 70 degrees! I love free A/C ;)

I'm procrastinating here, but wanted to share this super easy, super yummy , high protein recipe with you. I made it for the first time this morning, and it was so good! It's from Hungry Girl, btw...

Chris, mmm, those recipes look yummy! Easy to make before work. I need something different. Very cool - no work today! The bike trail sounds great.

Beth, I didn't expect to see you here today!! So, your camping trip is starting out at a hotel? ;) There's so much "stuff" involved in camping - it's easy to forget stuff. Hope you have a fun adventure!

Hottie - yes, hubbies can be a pain sometimes! Worse than kids at times. ;) That massage will help with your 1RM soreness!

Hi Kathy!

Today was Imax2. Another awesome Cathe workout! It was supposed to be a bike ride today, but it was storming this morning. Now it's steaming hot outside - supposed to be around 95 today and close to 100 tomorrow. Jameson and DH are at a soccer tournament - I'm a bit worried about the kids playing in this heat. Colin slept at a friend's house and is there till 5:00 tonight. I'm taking Ian and Caitlyn and one of her friends to see Aliens in the Attic in a few minutes and then probably to the pool tonight.

Have a great rest of the weekend all....

Joanne

HI ladies...

I got Gym Style BSB done this morning..I really enjoy the Gym Style series....We just got back from a birthday party for a friend of Chris' and Lauren's...They had fun!!

Chris: Yes, I am on week 2. Started today...Enjoy your bike ride and your night off of work. YEAH!!! Great recipes!!

Beth: Enjoy your camping..I like this idea of camping. I don't enjoy roughing it in a tent!!

Hottie: I really enjoyed STS..I know you will love it too...I like shopping Kohl's. They usually have great sales!! Ooooh, a massage. How nice!! Enjoy..

Joanne: We have similar weather here. No storm this morning. But, it was hot today and suppose to be close to 100 tomorrow and Monday...Enjoy that pool!!

ohhh...does napping for 2 hours count? or getting massaged for 90 minutes? no no I got it -- eating 3000 calories! I still have some home to getting in more than hour albeit light stuff like pilates or walking evee but I have to say, I like this recharge day and it just motivates me more to kick butt tomorrow...

Good morning ladies...

Getting ready to head off to church...Later Lauren and I have some errands to run while hubby takes Chris to a baseball game. Then, I will be doing KPC this afternoon!!

Gotta go..be back later!!

Hi Girls!!

It's nice to be here on a Sunday morning!

We did go to the Rail Trail in Northampton yesterday, and biked for 2+ hours! It really really was a fun, cool ride, it had 2 bridges over the river and lots of country. We found a natural/fresh food store to stop at for snacks and sat and looked out over the fields and at the mountains. My butt was talking to me though, towards the end. (hard seat).

I kind of blew it for the calorie burn though. We ended up going to an Italian/Pizza place on the way home. VERY yummy food. I did "try" and ordered a Pesto Chicken Salad w/Balsamic Vinegar for dressing, but I ended up picking at the boys' pizza and fried fish. And then came home and continued eating "crap". I just figured it was part of vacation, and I didn't want to stress about food. As the saying goes, "I'll start back to eating good on Monday"!!!

In the meantime, I could say that I did today's bike ride yesterday along with ME and got my 2 workouts in, but I feel the need to do some cardio and burn off some ick that I ate yesterday. I looked ahead at AUG rotation , and there's not much on there for step, really. So I'm planning on the Cardio Timesaver from BM2.

Beth: I'm wondering if you'll even see this, but it was fun to hear from you yesterday!! Sounds like a 'wing-it' kind of trip, which can be fun!!

Hottie: Sounds like a nice relaxing day you had! I agree, sometimes ya just GOTTA do it, and not feel guilty about it. That's how I feel about most of the last week. It was our vacation, so , I "vacated" !! Looking forward to hearing what you do today!!

Kathy: How are you feeling after GS yesterday? Any DOMS? I feel like I'll probably get them big time, since I'm not used to that kind of lifting lately. ... Have fun with KPC..haven't done THAT one in forever either!

BBL!

Oh what a high -- Joe was encouraging me to do IM2 since I ate soo much yesterday without anything minus walking some stretching and housework but I was all like-- I just DID that workout on Friday *whining.* Do I popped in IM3 thinking to only do the first half and shift to something else later but I ended up doing the whole thing. Yeah, I have to hold off on some of sets of blasts because of my foot (and my heart) but just a solid good workout. So so so so proud of myself. I need to do low impact for at least two days though...don't want to hurt my feet. I am breaking up my workouts today (shopping counts as a workout right?) and Joe and I are going to do 1RM test later today FINALLY! yay!!!!

Kathy -- oh, I really need to get KPC! Enjoy that workout!

Chris -- you know, you actually really made me feel better that you ate a little off too. You're also reminding me to try the BM2 Cardio Premix too later this week. Hope you enjoy your workout and have a relaxing Sunday. Man Sundays are so bittersweet for me -- given tomorrow monday but it must be the opposite for you!
