Hey to everyone to follow...

YAY for DOMS, Kathy!! Mine aren't kicking in quite yet, I find it's the full 24 hours before I really feel it. I feel like I worked my back and esp. shoulders yesterday. Biceps..yes, but not to the point of shaking and wanting to "cry". I think it's the band work that does it to me!

Ahhh.... MIC... I'm already dreading that one. I'm thinking I may do something else. Like maybe Jillians BFBM , instead, and maybe adding on some of the step from MIC. I just can't take that Hi/Lo "crap"... :eek:;)

For me today, it's KPC. Zach and Alex are away at camp again for the day. It's such a difference here with just Jake home. And today Greg is sleeping after work, so I get some semi-alone time ... Taking Jake to the library later for "Martha Speaks Book Club". Thinking about reading outside and dipping in the pool for a bit. It's a VERY summery/hot/humid "might reach 100" day. And I have to finish the library book I'm reading, (Shanghai Girls), it's due in 2 days. And I have one that's ready to be picked up (The Shack).

*WAVES* to Hottie, Joanne and Beth (wherever you may be). Joanne, do you have your eye thing today or is that tomorrow?

Chris: Nice! I love alone time too!! We are doing the library today too. Chris is taking a class there that is being put on by the VA Science Museum. It is a Might Machines class...Funny, The Hi/Lo part of MIC is my favorite part of the workout. I am not a fan of the step part of that workout....Different tastes!! It makes the world go round!! Enjoy that pool. We are having some scorching days too. I need to hit the grocery store later. But, right now I need to get to MIC!!! Have fun with KPC...
 
Just got done with KPC a bit ago... GOOD sweat! That last combo kills me! LOL! and the plank work on the ball didn't go so well on the ball, I was so sweaty and kept slipping off! LOL!

: Too funny we like the opposite in MIC! We'd make a good team on that one!! I'm sure you're already done, but maybe you could do the hi/lo and then step from another (like SB?).
 
Howdy -- checking in with the BM2 Cardio Timesaver premix and some 1rm testing. Will do more later...my friend is leaving again for like a month so I want to see if we can catch up for lunch so I'm in a bit of swirl.

Kathy -- I don't have MIC but it sounds like hella fun. I'm not a big fan of hi/lo. I can't seem to get my footwork down on it for some reason...I should really just focus and learn how to do it myself but eh...so much to do...

Chris -- and another workout I don't have! though I feel like doing KB soon....planks on balls...cathe is so crazy....

eek, meeting tomorrow with boss man....
 
Chris: I kinda skipped the plank stuff when I did KPC..Just wasn't up to the pikes!! I usually just tough it out with MIC. I hate changing the workouts. I did do it on a 6" step today instead of the 8" and it was ok. I just don't like that first combo..

Hottie: Hope you had a good time with your friend...Great workout!!

Ok, so I got MIC done this morning and boy is it tough to do the armwork in a cardio workout when your chest is experiencing DOMS..I was having a tough time of it. Especially the circle jacks....Now, it is time to get dinner going...We had an awesome time at the library today!!
