Good morning ladies..

Getting us started for today....My workout today is STS meso 3 week1 chest and back...My legs are feeling some DOMS from plyo legs. The main DOMS are in my glutes right now. I am sure I will have more creep up later!

Ok, now time to get the kids started on their day. Breakfast and school lessons!!

Happy Monday! (well, for Chris, anyway :D). First day of school here!

I've been awake since 4am. Kathy, I think I hurt my shoulder doing chest and back yesterday. I so need that tower/rack. It's just really hard getting started on the chest presses. Anyway, it got more and more sore as the day went on yesterday, and it's not so great this morning. I'm going to delay the shoulder work until Friday, I think. At any rate, hope you enjoyed that heavy work!

So, I couldn't get back to sleep so went ahead and got up to do plyo legs and since I had extra time I tacked on some barre glute work, abs, and stretch. I kind of skimped on the abs work a little.

I'd better try to get back into that school routine. Hope you all enjoy your day!
 
Hi ladies!

Beth, hope your shoulder eases up soon. I've had that from time to time. First day of school for us too. Ian had orientation Friday and of course, lost his schedule. Thankfully I had prepared and made an extra copy. Caitlyn started 1st grade today. She cried and cried and didn't want to go in. I'm sure she'll be fine, but I did feel bad.

Kathy, have fun with those heavy weights!

Chris, hope your night went by fast and was uneventful!

I started my Insanity rotation today. I did the fit test, which is a workout in itself. You do it every two weeks. We'll see if/how I progress. Then I did the P57 express workout.

In between classes so decided to check in with you all.

My son and youngest daughter start school tomorrow and I'm pretty sure they are still home sleeping in lol

Oh poor you and Caitlyn those tears :( poor baby and yes she'll be fine once she gets into the school routine. How do you like the Physique 57 express? With my days starting early I'll be needing workouts from 30 - 40 min max. The weekends I'll save for the 60 min + workouts.

Beth Happy Happy Joy Joy that the kids are back at school. Which barre workout was that you did? So far I only have the Squeeze Stronger but plan on getting P57 here shortly. Waiting for the schools to hit me up for extra $$$ as they usually do lol

Hey girls...I still feel like CRAP. blech. this has the workings of a 14 day period but I'm crossing my fingers for 9. I just ran to the school gym for a quick 30 minute interval elliptical run...it was sort of crappy but at least I kept my heart rate above 130. thank gosh Joe gave me a big breakfast this morning because I'm already feeling drained (potatoes, omelette, and toast). Now, I'm waiting for my student to plan things out with her and then its a couple hours non stop at the bench...yay?

Joanne -- poor Caitlyn! How's the ipod touch?

I have to take my fat behind down stairs STAT to do my workout. The scale has been creeping up this week because I've not made the best choices, and I'm getting disgusted with myself.. :mad:

I'm going to really have to fix things around here...

I'm off to do MESO 3, Shoulders, Biceps and Triceps....

Hey again! I made it!

Did Meso 3: Shoulders, Triceps and Biceps. I liked it, but yes, the pace is sure something to get used to. In between I puttered around the room cleaning (the boys play in my workout room and made such a clutter over the weekend :eek:)

Kathy: Oh! I'm looking forward and also dreading Plyo Legs tomorrow. I think I may do the 2nd one, i remember the 1st one not being my favorite. Hope Chest and back went well and you guys have fun in the pool.

Beth: I'm jealous of your first day of school. I wish it was here too. the boys did a doozy yesterday and they are now grounded for the week, our last week of summer vacation. *sigh*. I can't believe you added on Barre work AFTER Plyo!! You crazy woman you! and at the crackbutt of dawn to boot!...I have the same issue with the heavy chest work in Meso 3. It pulls on my shoulders and they get really sore. I did the other disc today, and saved chest/back for next time...

Joanne: I hope you are still on your birthday high and playing with your new toy!!... Sounds like the first day of schoolw as a bit chaotic. Poor Caitlyn. It breaks my heart when they have school sadness. I just want to say "Forget it, they don't need to go to school, we're going home!".. LOL!... Insanity!!! Yes!!.. I'm glad you're starting, i'm looking forward to hearing about it.... Work was pretty nice last night, quiet. I had some tough patients though. One, a 36 year old beautiful girl (she was strikingly pretty, she really was) and she had metastatic colo-rectal cancer. She was diagnosed first in 2002, when she was 29! No famly history. It had come back, and it was in her liver, and pretty much all throughout her pelvis. her husband was also gorgeous, and he was so sweet, right there with her, helping her with the bedpan even. I'm thinking my husband would NEVER do that for me!... It just broke my heart. And she was so nice and sweet to boot, even after all she'd been through...

sorry to babble, I get so sad from work sometimes....

Vilma: *BIG WAVES*!!! Good to see you, sounds like school is good. I bet your schedule is super crunched now, but I know you'll find a way for working out!! Gotta!... Sorry to read about your DD's BF going back and the worries you all must have. I will keep him in my prayers. What's his first name? Just so I have a name to tell God. :)

Hottie: Oh ugh! Hope you snap out of the BLECH! Is it TOM? Bastard, hate that guy!!! Good for you for jumping on the elliptical!!!

Okay, i have to run, time to prep our supper! BBQ chicken on the grill tonight (breast for me, drumsticks for the boys!)
 
Hey! Vilma, if you're still out there...... it was some of Exhale Core Fusion that I added on. I like P57 better, but the bummer is they didn't chapter their dvds, so hard to add on -- though they do have some bonuses on each disc that I keep meaning to check out but always forget. I hope it's a different bonus on each disc, and not the same thing repeated, or portions from another of the workouts repeated -- though even that would be a good way to add on, I guess.

Chris, very sad about your patient!!! Wow, you just never know what life's going to throw at you.

I'm getting very tired already...... it's way too early for me to be tired.
