Attn Webmaster login problems

Hi,

Sorry to post this publicly but your customer support said to do this. Anyway I thought you'd like to know that the forum log-in doesn't work in Firefox on a Mac. I have to go into windows and IE to log in successfully. (Yuck and double yuck.)

I'm not totally sure how long this has been going on a couple weeks for sure maybe longer. This has not been an issue in the past however. There have been no recent changes on my computer, etc.

Is it the new version of Firefox? I'm using Firefox (old version) on a PC and it seems to work.

Have you tried Safari on the Mac?

I use Firefox on a Mac at home, but haven't encountered a problem logging in.

We use Firefox and Mac’s every day in our office and haven’t seen nor have we heard of any other problems besides yours. Our current forum software resides on a Linux box that we have not touched or updated in years as there has never been a reason to do so.

More than likely your problem has been caused by a corrupt cookie on your computer or perhaps you’re using a proxy server through your ISP provider. I would suggest first trying to delete your cookies and see if that helps.

I'm using Firefox and a Mac and I haven't had any trouble. Make sure you have Firefox 3.0. One thing that happened -- we had a little trouble a couple of weeks ago and we realized that Firefox didn't automatically upgrade like it always did when we had a PC.

Thanks everybody for the feedback and help. My hubby tried a variety of things so I'm not entirely sure what helped but it's working now. It was probably a combo of redoing the latest update and clearing my cookies and cache.
