I really hope you see this thank you because you gave me some advice on Oct 22 that has really helped me tremendously!
My original post was on Oct.22 and titled: "SOS: question 4 the nutrition knowledgable", and I had asked whether or not it made a difference if I stuck strictly to 1500 calories/day or if I mixed it up, so long as I did not go over 10,500 calories/week (1500x7 days), and you showed me a diagram of how to mix up the calories, still not going over 10,500/week.
Well, I took your info and made it fit my week, for example, my 1900 calorie day is Monday because my family has a "take out" Monday tradition, and since I don't cook on Mondays, but eat take out, I can't control as strictly the fat intake, etc., so Mondays are the highest calorie day, then I figured the rest of the week using the high/low system, actually adding in a few calories because I think the one you graphed was 10,200, ANYWAY, I followed this system, and I found it very easy to do as my fewer calorie days (1300-1400), were my non-weight training days, and my higher calorie days were my weight days/most active days, and to make this very long story short......
It must have shaken up my metabolism as you predicted because I am 3.5lbs lighter this Monday! YYYIIIPPPPPEEEEEEE and Thank You for taking the time to give me your valuable input! This staggering calories system obviously works for me, maybe someone else will read this post and be helped by it as well.
Thank you again LoriS, you've made such a wonderful difference in my weight loss journey! Anne
