Has anyone ordered the "Honey" dress? I am getting ready to buy it and wondered if anyone knew how it fit?!

Customer service will tell you everything you need to know. (I spend so much time chatting with them, they're practically my best friends).
 
I checked it out in the catalog and that dress is adorable. Did you see the Senorita dress? That caught my eye too.

I'm having some kind of obsession with Athleta these days. I'm completely hooked on the fabrics. So soft, strong and beautiful.
 
Nancy, I called customer service like you said, they were quite helpful! I WISH I could be hooked on Athleta! I love everything in the catalog but with four kids still living at home plus a one year old grandchild living with us we are pretty strapped! The baby is a blessing though, and I'm so proud of how my daughter is handling being a young single mom.
 
Shels, you sure have a lot going on! It's amazing you have time to workout or shop at all.

If it makes you feel better, I order a lot, but keep very little. Shopping for clothes by catalog is not easy. Fortunately, most of the stuff I've bought so far has been on sale. Athleta has been having a lot more stuff on sale since the economic downturn.
 
I love this catalog, but I'm just not willing to go to all the work for catalog buying and returning. I wish there was a store that carried the great selection in the catalog.

I'm hoping that now that Athleta has been bought by Gap, Inc. they don't start trying to skimp on quality to save money, and open stores on every street corner. :( I'm so tired of this oligopolistic market we've been living in!
 
uggg I didn't know they were bought by GAP. I love GAP for some things but I agree they could start changing things with Athleta as far as quality. I hope they leave well enough alone!!!
 
I bought the black Honey dress and received it today. I ordered a size small. Now, I am nine months pregnant and it still fit fine with a wee bit of room on the hips and arms. And furthermore, just so it does not sound like I am bragging, I am NOT a tiny-petite itty-bitty person, but I am "fit" and a medium-sized person and I do like form-fitting clothes. Ultimately, I would say that the sizes run a bit large, obviously. It is totally cute though! I do recommend and can't wait to wear it once the baby is born. Just a couple weeks at most!

Perhaps their dresses are cut differently than their other stuff. I wear small in most of their stuff (sometimes medium) and there would be no way any of it would fit if I were 9 months pregnant LOL!!
 
Catherine - you never know! I opened it and was like, yea right. But I put it on and wore it around the house for an hour, looking all cute, in a circular kind of way... I hope it doesn't hang on me too much when I am not-prego though. That is a pet peeve of mine (loose clothing on myself).

Me too. I wear small, but sometimes medium, and I don't think their stuff runs large at all. If anything, at least the pants run on the smaller size.
