As if my feet weren't cold enough!!!!

It has been SO cold the last week and a half and my office is freezing! I have a space heater, but can't use it for any significant amount of time because it always blows a fuse causing everyone's computers to go down. Then...I'm informed by a coworker that my care tire is flat. Sooooo...I have to go stand outside while the AAA guy changes it for me. (oh - and to whomever it was who asked if we could change a tire...I SO totally could have done that! But really...why?) Anyway, if it's over 15 degrees outside, I'll eat my sweater. My feet are like two blocks of ice right now.

I'm trying to decide if I should get the tire replaced tonight, which will cause me to miss a workout, or wait until my day off on Wednesday. AAA dude says it's safe to drive on if I don't go over 50 mph (which is no small task for me. I'm a lead foot).

I hate cars! I wish someone would invent the Star Trek transporter already!

If you plan on driving anywhere over the next few days I'd suggest getting it replaced ASAP--forget the AAA guy, the roads out there are pretty slick & I would not suggest attempting them on a donut.
 
I know Maximus. I'm just a MAJOR procrastinator. Especially when it comes to sitting in the waiting room of some car repair place. UGH! I hate them.
 
Hey girl! it was me who asked about tires b/c mine was flat. very irritating! So, what flavor is your sweater? how's the book coming? i am rushing through the 3rd one so i can start DT. btw, dh just finished the one you asked about and his comment was, " it was a nice change of pace".....i have no clue what that is supposed to mean but he said you would get it. also, it is his favorite so far. he just started the next one. it's obvious ly not as good cause i can hear him in there on trhe couch snoring with his book on his chest. ;-) hope your feet warm up soon! nuke you socks!

Actually, Wolves of the Calla is very good. The women kick a little butt in it, but Wizard and Glass has some nice love story in it.

I'm totally loving Game of Thrones! Let's see...Catelyn just had The Imp captured at the inn and The Hound just won the tournament. I'm really hoping that Sansa figures out what a loser Joffrey is. She can't be that stupid, can she? Don't tell me...

What's the next in the series? I'm going to have to reserve it at the library.
 
Clash of Kings is the next one. i thought it was much better than the 1st. the third is Storm of Swords. the fourth has not been published yet. he better hurry up! i hate waiting! that Sansa-joffery storyline is very frustrating isn't it? i hate reading weak women characters! i like the ones that kick ass. who's your favorite character so far?

My favorite character I think is John Snow. Maybe Tyrion. I like Catelyn, but am not too thrilled about the way she treats John. I'm going to have to request the next one from the library, so hopefully it will be there when I finish this one.

I got my tire changed on Monday. Maximus made me do it.:)

I'm a bit ticked off today because the weather-geeks said it was supposed to be in the 30's tomorrow, and now I see a high of 7. Huge difference, I'd say.
 
Jon is my favorite too! Tyrion is dh's fav. dh read me the funniest quote out of Wovels of the Calla last night. something about
a mandolin and banjo....so he assumed the music would be of the ####-kicker variety......i laughed alot!
