Aren't reverse phone number look ups free anymore? Geesh!

You used to be able to find the name of the person associated with a phone number for free. Now they want to charge you. Are there any sites out there that let you type in a phone number and they'll tell you who it belongs to for free? I'm talking about regular house phone numbers not cell numbers which, I guess, are still kept confidential......imagine that!

Thank you but they're one of the sites that are charging. They never used to. OK. This is weird. I just typed in my phone number and it pulled up the right name but with the wrong address. So why is it showing some names and charging for others? This is quite frustrating!!!

Thanks for posting superpages.com. What I recently found out is that the phone number I was trying to look up is a Magic Jack number. I guess those numbers aren't listed on the sites I was trying. At least now I know why and that will also help for potential future frustrations if I can't find a number. Of course these sites are always willing to help you further for a fee!
