I just moved into a new apartment and am almost finished making the basement into my workout area. (Seems a lot of us are doing that these days!
)
I have put one layer of puzzle mats down on the floor but am worried that that's not enough for my knees. They were aching yesterday after doing a Step Blast/S,J&P premix. I've been doing a lot of high impact lately and probably should cut down on that but I'm worried that one layer of puzzle mats ontop of the concreate floor isn't enough. I'm hesitant to get more because 1.) They're pricey!!! and 2.) I'm worried that I run the risk of falling off two layers of puzzle mats and breaking an ankle or something....
Do any of you have experience and any thoughts about one layer of puzzle mats vs. two on concreate floors?
TIA!!!
