Visited the doctor for the official confirmation - had the blood test - sat down with him to figure out my due date and .....Apr. 22 is it!

I feel so blessed I feel like crying. I called my DH and he said why do you sound so sad? I'm not....just emotional I guess. I really am lucky. This is number 3 - I'm just so blessed!!!:)

Congratulations! It will be nice to have a spring baby. You will miss out on all the heat & humidity of summer.

Best wishes,

yes! Winter babies are difficult here in canada! My first was born in November and I could never take him for a walk in his stroller. I always had to go to the maill to take him for a walk. so, let's just say I'm looking forward to being able to go for long walks in the stroller, the fresh air, no snowsuits etc!!!

Lynne--feel free to check in with us on the weekly pregnant moms thread! and congrats--Our 3rd was an April baby (april 5)

Lynn,

That's wonderful news! I hope you have an enjoyable, healthy pregnancy. What part of Canada are you in? I live in Edmonton. I can relate to the difficulties of stroller-walks in the winter time!

I live in a small suburb about an hour's drive just outside of Toronto! I have a feeling though that your winters are worse than ours! Nice to meet a fellow Canadian here EH? (lol)

I'm still freaked about doing weights while pregnant! my doctor said it was fine as long as I lowered the weights a bit. so yesterday, i went to the gym and did the following:

hamstring curls
leg extentions
walking lunges with dumbells
deadlifts
squats
calf raises
abs

I'm a bit stiff today even though I lowered the weights. I'm still freaked about it though - I keep thinking that its got to be bad for the baby. Am I crazy????

Congratulations! A spring baby does sound wonderful.

And are you crazy? Nope :) I was scared half to death of doing any step or weights because I was sure it would be bad. My doctor did nix the kickboxing, step and high-intensity cardio but said weights were fine at a lower level and at inclines and such from the 2nd trimester on.

Now I just wish I had the energy to do any of it! It is way too hot here in Texas to walk and I am way too tired and lazy to do anything else so I just hope I can get the body back after the baby (and after holiday eating since this one is coming early November).

I lowered teh weights yesterday - but it was still a good workout! I guess I'll lower even more next time. He did say not to over-exert myself! walking lunges though are killer - how do you not get HR up there with those evil things????
