Appetite & the beach

I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, b/c I lose every ounce of self control I have when I'm down the shore. Any discipline I might have goes right out the window. All I want to do is eat, drink, work out, and ummmm other physical stuff.

So I'm thinking there's some kind of chemical reaction between salt water/air & our bodies. Or if maybe it's b/c I'm deviating from my normal routine so my body goes into overdrive. Thoughts?

You bragger, you!x( :p :) Here I am under fluorescent lights overly active air conditioning and very distinctive aromas & you just have to go rub it in. Don't ya?!!!x( x( x(

Whenever I go to the beach, my appetite doubles. It is something about being in the salt air. Plus, I also tend to do a lot more walking, and ummm, other physical stuff as you so eloquently put it!

I grew up on a beach, well my preteen years and teenage years. So the beach doesn't affect me. I do eat a bit, but I do a lot of running in the sand and swimming. Running in the sand, burns nearly 45% more calories then if you ran on pavement, so you should be a bit more hungry if your doing that. That other physcial stuff, can burn more calories too, so it's kind of win win situation. >:)
