Anyone Weight their Food??

I have searched everywhere online to find the portion sizes for sushi and chicken tenders.. I can't find anything reliable..
I don't have a scale, does anyone know the size of a regular chicken breast tenderloin (no skin) that you get in the meat department (not frozen or pre-cooked)?
Just a regular little tenderloin (not a big breast or anything?)
I guestimated them at about 1.5 ounces as they *appear* to be about the size of a deck of cards if you put two together.. lol .. but Im not sure.
Im trying to keep track of my protein and since I make these a lot Id like to have a better idea of them :)

Yes, it is about 1.5 and occasionally 2 depending on the tender itself. So you guessed pretty well.
:) Good luck with your goals,

I know when I was on a strict program, my trainer told me to weigh my protein before cooking it. My portions were 4 ounces, so that is 6 ounces before cooking, meat generally loses about two onces in the cooking process, that has been my experience.

aahhh.. i see, didnt think about that.. I does shrink, i just never related that to weight change I guess..
So have you ever cooked and weighted the tenders?
AnitaBFit said they were around 1.5+/- ounces each.. Im guessing that to be about 15 g's?

Oh dear, I never used tenders, but I would just plop a bunch on your scale --raw of course and go from there, just remember about losing 2 ounces due to the cooking process.:)
