Anyone watch Top Chef last night?

I was a little put off by this show. I think the judges set up ridiculous parameters for events - no time and substandard ingredients - and then get their panties in a twist that the contestants aren't producing miracles. 16 hours to prep for a wedding that requires grocery store ingredients??? Seriously.

On the other hand, I was glad to see Stephen get the boot. He is such a pompous &ss and really thinks he is so much better than everyone else. You can just see the confusion in his eyes when anyone gives him constructive criticism, lol. Of course, I did feel bad for him at the end, as I feel bad for everyone who gets kicked off these programs!

I love this show. I don't watch it until the weekend because it is on too darn early.
I think the short amount of time makes the show better. As in Project Runway, the short amount of time displayed how the creative type can think so quickly.
I agree with you regarding the judges on this show, I find them irritating and snobbish. They are no Nina Garcia!
But I still love this show and love to hate Stephen, the villian. Which reminds me......Survivor is on tonight.
