Anyone use it? I have read that is should contain 3% rosavins and 0.8% salidrosides. Where is the best place to buy it? Thanks.

Use it how? I use Origins products with Rhodiola in them. Are you speaking topical or ingesting?

I've used it in the past. I've forgotten which brand I bought but I believe it was Wild Oats generic brand... I took it in the afternoons to help with energy lag. I'm not sure it helped all that much though, at least not enough to continue after a few months. What does Dr. Oz say it's good for?

On his website where he adds it to his smoothie, it says, "1 tsp rhodiola rosea This liquid plant extract improves mood, alleviates depression and can also improve sexual functioning and libido. It’s available for purchase in natural food stores."

What I used was Rhodiola, not Rhiodola... I'm not sure if they are the same thing or not. Rhodiola is the root of a tree grown in cold climates.

Rhodiola rosea is considered an adaptogen, which means it works primarily as an endurance booster. Many Westerners are much more familiar with another adaptogen called Siberian ginseng. Legend has it that the Vikings routinely consumed rhodiola rosea to boost their strength while on long campaigns. Eastern Europeans and Scandinavians also benefited from the fatigue-fighting properties of rhodiola rosea. In some parts of the world, a bride was presented with a bouquet of rhodiola to symbolize the arrival of new vitality and prosperity.

I took mine in capsule form and not liquid. I would think liquid would be better. I'd be interested to know what you thought of it. I might try it again... I can always use more energy at the end of the day.
