i always drink my protein shake right after i make it. how bad would it be if i made it and then stuck it in the fridge to have when i get to work? this is mostly a time issue, i'm always running in the morning, so i'd like to workout, shower and get to work and sit and have my shake. would the taste be effected that much? how about the nutritional breakdown?

I'm not sure if the nutritional profile would be affected, but it might not have the same texture. Most smoothies/shakes don't sit well.

Can you bring a small blender to work?

Or how about a protein powder that mixes easily with juice, and just shake it up when you're at work?

Isopure and Elite protein powders mix really well with just a shaker. They come in fruit flavors that taste good mixed with water. Elite protein is also very economical, I bought a 32 serving container for $16.99 at Vitamin World (and the larger 79 serving containers are about $37).

The shaker I use has a separate compartment on the bottom of the container so I can add the protein powder to the water whenever I’m ready for it (like this):

I haven’t had to use the chilled insert yet but it would be really handy if your traveling somewhere and want to have your water stay cold.
