Anyone Seen Elektra?

Dh and I watched it last night and we're both baffled as to why it did so poorly in the theaters. It was an intersting story line, Jennifer Garner looked as beautiful as ever in it, and the acting wasn't bad. Plus the fight scenes were fun to watch. What was your take on the movie? If you didn't like it why? I am just trying to figure out why no one went to see it, I enjoyed it, personally. But I did not have high hopes for it, due to the lack of people seeing it, I figured it would be horrible. Maybe that's part of the reason why I was plensently surprised.

I rented it twice before I actually watched it. And I only rented it in the first place b/c we hadn't seen it but had seen most in the store (we are BIG movie watchers). Maybe the same feeling was amongst movie geors - no motivation to see it?

Once I actually watched it, it was okay but I didn't really think it was anything all that great. I would not watch it again (where I would if it were good) but I didn't feel like watching was a waste. I was sort of middle ground on it, not for any particular reason, but just as a whole.

You know I think you're right on that no one had the motivation to see it in the theaters. I saw it and thought, huh, looks rentable. Then we finally watched it last night and I was just so curious because I thought it would be horrible. But it was a movie that I didn't regret watching like I thought it would be.
Thanks for helping me.

I seen it and loved it, but I love anything Jennifer Garner is in. However, I do believe Daredevil was a bit better and I really wish they would have had Ben Affleck in it. Did you watch the deleted scenes? They had Ben in one of them but for some reason they cut it. They definitely should have let it in.

I like it a lot, I like movies when the female is sexy, beautiful, smart and strong, and Electra is all that. Anytime a female kicks butt, I like it. I also like Chalie's Angels.
