High fiber cereals, granola bars, anything with wheat, whole grains, lettuce certain green vegies, such as spinach, and yes, even gelatin foods, jello, puddings and my long lost love, yes, chocolate...

There is a relatively large list of foods I'm supposed to avoid, these are a few examples of what I can't eat...I have eczema so bad my skin cracks and bleeds, from reactions to stuff that's supposed to be good for me...The "other stuff" that I can eat such as white bread, crackers, etc. are bad for my weight...and make it so hard for me to control my hunger...

Sometimes I feel I'm @?$% if I do and @#?# if I don't.

Hopefully, I'm not the only one out there with this problem and I would appreciate any input at all at how to overcome this "diet" obstacle...

Wow, I would starve. Have you actually been allergy tested to see if you are truly allergic to these things? Or were you just advised to stay away because of your eczema? Usually adult eczema isn't caused by food allergies. In children it often is. Of course it can be in adults, that's why I wondered if you had been tested to see. I'd hate for you to be avoiding all of those good foods and not truly be allergic. I feel for ya!!

Sorry to hear that! I have a friend who has problems with copper in food. She works very closely with a nutritionist. Some of the things she is told seem a bit odd but she has lost weight and feels better so the advice is helping. I hope you can fidn a solution so that you can enjoy life....and food.
